Currently, the Commission issues four types of licenses under its Regulations concerning Interactive Gaming:
-
Interactive Gaming Licence (IGL): Issued to an approved hosting facility within the Capilano Homulchusun Nation Territory. Only one IGL may be issued at any given time.
-
Client Provider Authorization (CPA): Issued to approved entities wishing to provide interactive gaming services from the hosting facility in the Capilano Homulchusun Nation Territory. There is no limit on the number of CPAs the Commission can issue. CPA holders must be hosted at a facility that holds an IGL and are authorized to offer any type of interactive gaming, including casino games, poker, and/or sports betting.
-
Key Person Licence (KPL): Issued to at least one individual performing managerial or operational functions for the entity that holds a CPA or CSPA. The information in KPLs is considered confidential by the Commission.
-
Casino Software Provider Authorization (CSPA): Issued to entities that are authorized to locate and operate interactive gaming equipment at a co-location facility owned and operated by a valid IGL holder. CSPA holders may also license casino software to third-party online gaming operators but are not permitted to offer interactive games directly to players.
-
Live Dealer Studio Authorization (LDSA): Issued to entities authorized to operate a Live Dealer Studio within the Capilano Homulchusun Nation Territory. They may conduct live dealer games and, with Commission approval, engage in other interactive gaming-related activities from these premises.
